With a footprint of approximately 500mm², it fits comfortably on a laboratory benchtop. For enhanced ergonomics and mobility, it is best used with its purpose-built trolley, which positions the system at the optimal working height and features full swivel, lockable casters for safe and convenient movement.
The OS is capable of processing volumes from 0.5mL to 8mL per cycle, with an exceptionally low dead loss volume of <0.1mL per process, ensuring maximum sample recovery. It is recommended for total processing volumes up to 24mL, making it an excellent upgrade for laboratories transitioning from traditional small bench-top techniques such as bead beating and sonication.
Powered by Constant Systems’ precise and consistent hydraulic control, the OS ensures that every sample is processed exactly at the operator-defined pressure. This level of control guarantees accurate, reproducible, and consistent results. In most applications, a single pass is sufficient, eliminating the need for repeated processing cycles.
